The Battle

To promote Universal’s release of “Mercurial” we developed a new social version of the traditional Mercurial game on Facebook. Targeting both men and women ages 12-34, the application is a high-tech update of the game that now lets users blow up 3D models of human and alien ships, challenge friends and strangers to play, and unlock exclusive clips from the film.

The application leverages Facebook’s built-in social gaming components, letting users play rapid fire in real-time, or through alerts and asynchronous turn-taking.  The application was translated into 12 languages and was used in multiple international territories.


Ghost Rider

To raise awareness for and promote the theatrical release of Sony’s Ghost Rider 2, Mercurial created an online digital advertising campaign targeting young males 12-18. Mercurial developed original digital assets using After Effects and Maya. Additionally, Mercurial coordinated a green-screen video shoot and performed physical 3D modeling to recreate the look and feel of the film character for this stunning motion graphics piece.
